Weather Advisory

The Winn Parish School System is closely monitoring the potential impacts of the expected winter storm. We are in ongoing communication with the National Weather Service, the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Department, and the Office of Homeland Security to ensure we have the most accurate and up-to-date information.

The safety of our students, employees, and community remains our highest priority. As conditions develop, we will carefully assess any potential risks, including challenges that may arise due to our aging facilities, and address them promptly and appropriately.

Please continue to monitor our official Facebook page and the District website for updates. Information will be shared as decisions are made and as conditions warrant.

Mac OS User Tabbing

For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:

Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Additional settings for Safari Browser.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
